Instead of just posting up my typical Optimistic Quote of The Day, I thought I'd reflect on this one today......

Now this is one powerful quote that I truly agree on.  The thoughts you have running through your head control your emotional state of mind.  It all depends on your attitude towards the certain situation, problem, challenge, etc.  What I've learned throughout the years is that people should count their blessings and look at what they do have, instead of what they don't have.  When you look at the world, there are literally billions of people out there without a car, decent home, nutritional meals, you name it.  If you are going to complain on these subjects, just know ya'll are very grateful to have it, compared with a huge part of the world that doesn't. 

Gotta praise the Lord each and every minute of your life, as all of us are very grateful to live in the U.S. or other fully-developed western countries where we have got it so good and don't realize or take a second to see how people are suffering in poverty stricken places.  People have started to take too many things for granted and aren't appreciative of what they have been given.

Next time you get mad over not getting a good tasting plate from a restaurant or complain about the size of your house, just think about someone out there who doesn't have it at all…
